Great Falls Public School District will be setting up for Direct Delivery for all categories except category seven (7). Any other districts wishing to do so will contact you or they will otherwise be going through the Awarded Distributor for receiving their product. The Bid is now out to determine who will distribute the products.
Points were awarded based on evaluations from the MSCPC evaluating committee for taste and quality and price. The evaluations from the MSCPC committee will consist of references for student acceptance, taste, quality and price. Price will be determined on the lowest average price per serving for the category. Student acceptance, taste and quality will be determined based on a scoring of one (1) to ten (10) with one (1) representing the least liked product and ten (10) representing the best like product. Scoring was completed with students and staff with the MSCPC districts. The respondent with the highest number of points will be awarded the contract for that category. It is not the policy of the MSCPC to award a contract based on price only. Quality, taste and student acceptance are controlling factors. The MSCPC evaluation committee reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals and to be the sole judges of quality and test. The MSCPC is not only concerned with the best and lowest price for the user, but also the most responsive and responsible vendor.
