TITLE VI INDIAN EDUCATION PROGRAM

Title VI Indian Education Program at Great Falls Public Schools, works district wide to ensure American Indian and Alaska Native students have equal access to educational opportunities. We also work to meet the unique cultural, language, and educational need of our student to provide a rich and diverse learning environment.
The Every Student Succeeds Act amends the Indian Education programs as Title VI, Par A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) was signed on December 10, 2015, and represents good news for our schools. The new law builds on key areas of progress in recent years, made possible by the efforts of educators, communities, parents and students across the country. For more information please visit the home page of the Office of Indian Education under the U.S. Department of Education.
